He falls in love with a female Na'vi who helps him when he is lost in the forest.Avatars are biological creatures - a combination of alien and human DNA. They are not self-aware and are controlled by a human from whose DNA they were made. The soldier takes control of an avatar that is made from his brother's DNA.Avatar is an idealistic movie showing an ideal world. The end of the film is particularly poignant.
